The Bechdel Cast is a podcast about the representation of women in movies. Each week, hosts Jamie Loftus and Caitlin Durante plus a special guest analyze a different movie through an intersectional feminist lens to determine how well or (usually) poorly the movie treats women. And, of course, whether or not the movie passes the Bechdel Test.

Developed by cartoonist Allison Bechdel, the Bechdel Test requires that a piece of media have 1) two named female-identifying characters 2) who speak to each other 3) about something other than a man. Many movies fail this simple metric.

The Bechdel Cast examines one of Hollywood's biggest problems -- the under- and misrepresentation of women.

Sludge: An American Healthcare Story is a podcast hosted by Caitlin Durante about the broken and biased healthcare system in the U.S.

Season 1 tells the story of how in Spring 2019, Caitlin went to the ER with severe abdominal pain and was discharged with the diagnosis of "probably having sludge in her gallbladder." In the months that followed, she faced nothing but countless obstacles in her attempt to get medical attention.

Season 2 coming soon!
