Caitlin Durante (she/her) is a Los Angeles-based comedian, writer, podcaster, instructor, story analyst, Paddington fan,  and other nouns.

Caitlin does a bunch of standup, and she has participated in festivals like Edinburgh Fringe, the New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, the Women in Comedy Festival, and the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. She performs all over the country, including one time in the basement of a McDonald's in Pennsylvania. She is also the creator and co-host of The Bechdel Casta comedy podcast that examines the portrayal of women in movies through an intersectional feminist lens. Caitlin is also the host of Sludge: An American Healthcare Story, a podcast that examines the broken and biased healthcare system in the U.S.

 

She also teaches  screenwriting classes  and workshops all over the place, including the internet (learn more about her online classes).
